Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 June 2026
1. About these terms
Accrue is operated by Vince Kosik, a sole trader based in Malta (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using Accrue you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You can reach us at accrue4u@gmail.com.
2. The service
Accrue is an online study tool that provides practice questions and explanations for the ACCA Financial Accounting (FA) exam. It is a study aid only. We do not guarantee any particular exam result, and using Accrue is not a substitute for your own study and judgement.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Accrue. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password secure, and to be responsible for activity that happens under your account. Accounts are for a single person and may not be shared.
4. Free questions
We offer a number of free questions so you can try Accrue before paying. Once you reach the free limit, you will need an active subscription to continue.
5. Subscription and billing
A subscription costs 5 euro per month and is processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We may change the price in future, and if we do we will give you clear notice before the change applies to you.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time, and you will keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because Accrue gives you immediate access to digital content, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law does not apply once you have started using the paid content. If something has gone wrong with your payment, contact us and we will deal with it fairly.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use Accrue for your own personal study only. You may not copy, scrape, resell, republish, or otherwise redistribute the questions, explanations, or any other content. You may not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.
8. Intellectual property
All questions, explanations, and other content on Accrue are original material that we own or are licensed to use. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own study while your account is active. This licence does not allow you to share or reproduce the content.
9. Not affiliated with ACCA
Accrue is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). “ACCA” and “FA” are trademarks of their respective owner and are used only to describe the exam that Accrue helps you prepare for. All practice questions are original material and are not reproductions of any ACCA past exam papers.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Accrue is provided on an “as is” basis. We work hard to keep the content accurate and the service available, but we do not promise that it will be error free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any exam outcome. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to the service or terms
We may update the service and these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top when we change these terms, and continued use of Accrue after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
